A use for wikis which has a lot of potential is the ability to create subject pathways which combine many types of information on a single page, such as: general information; all types of library resources including print, online databases and periodicals; links to relevant local and national websites, and user input and feedback.
I found a useful link to a Wikipedia Style Guide, which I bookmarked just in case I get ambitious and want to participate in writing a wiki some day soon.
